I downloaded photos, yay!
So I finally got my act into gear and downloaded the photos off my camera... yeah. It's been a while... This is a pic of Eden my niece a month or two ago. Ah for the days of being little and your entire wardrobe being pink, sparkly or both :) ANYWAY.
Well it's official. I missed the 614 March Break camp. But my last couple of weeks were just as hectic as I remember camp being, but I didn't get sick :) I pulled a couple of 11 or more hour days; one 12.5 hour day... and all the while I was trying to get some stained glass window paintings done for a prayer room at Stafford corps. I averaged about 5 hours sleep each night this week. But I totally got the pictures done. Pity they were on cardboard, it doesn't really last...
Self Denial/OWSOMS is coming up, as is Easter :) I hope they have hot cross buns at my corps... they have done previously at a couple of Easters... I like hot cross buns... I don't think I can be bothered buying fairtrade easter eggs at the Oxfam shop though - expensive, and I'm not that desperate...
Hmmm. I agreed to doorknock for the Red Cross this week... I was given 13 house numbers to collect from... only problem was, exactly 3 of those houses actually seemed to be in existence. One house I left an envelope cos noone answered the doorbell; one house gave $2.10 and the last house was my house - my brother feigned brokeness, and my parents totally brushed me off. I am totally budgeting, and Oxfam and my sponsor child already have dibbs on my cash this month. I may include a note to the Red Cross people that only three houses they gave me existed... for future reference...
I really need to like, participate in a sport or something. This is depressing. I think I will go superpoke people on Facebook! To make up for my distinct lack of leisure time for a couple of weeks...
