It's official...
I hate soy milk.
Apparently asian women on a traditional diet don't really get most menopause symptoms, because of the amount of soy and veges etc in their diet. So I thought I'd try a diet change to stave off future discomfort.
I bought a $2, 2L bottle of sweetened soymilk... and have managed to force down about three mouthfuls on two separate occasions since :P
It raises false hopes by looking like milk, and then the first taste you get is of water. Powdered milk tastes like water, and is disgusting at the best of times! But then you get the nutty aftertaste... I tried to convince myself to not compare it to milk and to accept it on it's own merits, but no. Gross.
Plan B involves finding soy bread which apparently exists somewhere. I've already tried soy based veggie-hot dogs, and they were just as gross as the milk. EW. What can they do to BREAD?
